Meet Dr. Sam Hutton – Dr. Sam is always ready to talk with his patients about treatment and enjoys sharing that knowledge. He loves surgery and implants; for him the best feeling is immediately getting someone out of pain and able to eat/sleep again! He tries to be a wonderful teacher and enjoys learning all the weird teeth facts.

Meet Dr. Emalie Hutton – Dr. Emalie is always ready to make sure the team and patients are having fun wherever possible. She is kind and compassionate; she believes that no matter where a patient is on their dental journey that Hutton Family Dentistry will meet them where they are with open arms and lots of love. Her passion for dentistry came early, and she continues to live her dream as a successful dentist!

Meet Crissa – Crissa is one of our Dental Hygienists. She shows her patients kindness and patience whenever it is needed. Her Southern charm is unparalleled; the relationships she has fostered over years with her patients are evidence of this! How often should I visit the dentist?

Most patients should visit the dentist every six months for routine cleanings and exams. Regular visits help prevent cavities, gum disease, and allow us to detect dental concerns early.

Do you accept dental insurance and what payment options are available?

We are in-network with Delta Dental, Blue Cross Blue Shield of TN, Grid+, Guardian, select Cigna plans, UMR, UnitedHealthcare, Anthem, Beam, Lincoln, Sunlife, and Equitable.

Please Note: Insurance is not required, and we offer options for uninsured patients. We accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards, and financing through Cherry and CareCredit.

How do I know if I need a filling, crown, or other restorative treatment?

Signs you may need treatment include tooth sensitivity, pain, decay, or visible damage. Fillings are typically used to repair smaller cavities, while crowns are recommended when a tooth needs additional strength and protection. Our team can determine the best option during your exam.

Do you offer same-day crowns and dental implants?

Yes. We offer same-day crowns for many patients. We also provide dental implants to replace missing teeth. Local anesthesia and sedation options help ensure a comfortable experience.

What cosmetic dentistry services do you offer?

We offer GLO in-office teeth whitening, veneers, and clear aligners through Candid. Whether you're looking to brighten your smile, improve tooth appearance, or straighten your teeth, we can help create a customized treatment plan.

Do you offer sedation dentistry for anxious patients?

Yes. We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral sedation, and general anesthesia. Our team strives to provide a calm, comfortable environment and tailors care to each patient's individual needs.

How can I improve my oral health at home?

Brush twice daily, floss or use a water flosser every day, use mouthwash as recommended, and limit sugary foods and beverages. Maintaining good habits at home helps keep your teeth and gums healthy between visits.

Do you offer fluoride treatments and fluoride-free options?

Yes. We offer fluoride treatments to help strengthen enamel and prevent cavities. We also provide several fluoride-free products for patients who prefer those options.

What should I expect after dental treatment?

After dental anesthetic injections, numbness typically lasts 2-4 hours. Following extractions, avoid straws and smoking, carefully follow your aftercare instructions, and contact our office if you have any questions or concerns during recovery.
