Hometown: I was born, raised, and currently live in Columbia, TN.
First Job: The very first job I ever had was at the Gap, folding clothes in the dressing room.
Why did you choose the dental field: I chose to be a dental hygienist because I loved the dental office I went to as a child. I always enjoyed my visits with my dentist and dental hygienist.
Hobbies and Interests: When I am not working, I love spending time with my family. My husband Charlie and our daughter Spencer.
What is something most people may not know about you: We have two dogs, Nala and Kippy.
Favorite Food: Anything with pasta: spaghetti, chicken alfredo, lasagna.
Eve
Hometown: I just moved back to Tennessee from 20 years in Windemere, Florida. I’m from Williamson County but grandparents and great grandparents on both sides are from Maury County. That means I’m related to about half the people around here lol.
First Job: Lifeguard at the VFW Oak Park here in Columbia.
Why did you choose the dental field: I chose the dental field because I truly enjoy learning and teaching the science of health.
Hobbies and Interests: When I’m not working I enjoy visiting family camping and exercising which helps allow me the nachos, cheese and crackers I love.
What is something most people may not know about you: Most of my new friends in Maury County do not know I played basketball and softball in college and have two smart kind grown children who still live in Florida so I visit quite often. I had the privilege of working with Dr. Sam Hutton at a previous job and I am very blessed to have recently followed him to Hutton Family Dentistry with great ethics and family values.
Favorite Food: Thin crust veggie pizza.
Kristi
Hometown: Sturgis, MI.
First Job: 15 years old I started as a dental assistant after school for my childhood dentist.
Why did you choose the dental field: I chose being a dental hygienist because a smile is often the first thing you notice about someone and I wanted to help build people’s confidence to feel good about their smile and oral health.
Hobbies and Interests: Anything outdoors: hiking, kayaking, paddle-boarding, entertaining, cooking and baking.
What is something most people may not know about you: I’m a lefty and out of all 5 states I’ve lived in, 4 of them have been in the middle of the state.
Favorite Food: Everything, but in particular Thai. I also love a good key lime pie!
Teresa
Hometown: Athens, AL.
First Job: Selling shoes in Pulaski, TN.
Why did you choose the dental field: I got interested in dentistry when I had braces.
Hobbies and Interests: I enjoy hiking and bike riding.
What is something most people may not know about you: We have recently bought 39 acres in the country, after 30+ years in the same house!
Favorite Food: I would have to say, my favorite food is Mexican.

Hometown: Bloomington, Illinois.
First Job: Scooping Ice Cream.
Why did you choose the dental field: I chose Dentistry because I loved my dentist growing up. Not to mention, I had a passion for science and working with my hands.
Hobbies and Interests: My #1 hobby is diving into a great book that I can't put down. What peaks my interest the most is creating lasting memories and having fun-filled adventures with those that make me smile & laugh!
What is something most people may not know about you: I am into ALL things scary & thrilling.
Favorite Food: Ice Cream :)

Hometown: I was born and raised in Lawrence County, TN but recently moved to Columbia, TN.
First Job: My very first job was Shoe Show in Lawrenceburg!
Why did you choose the dental field: Growing up I always had a wonderful experience at the Dentist. I chose to be a Dental Assistant to help others also have a wonderful experience at the dentist.
Hobbies and Interests: Gardening, arts and crafts and shopping
What is something most people may not know about you: I love all types of Rock music.
Favorite Food: Chicken alfredo.

Hometown: Gladwin, Michigan.
First Job: Reception at Roberts Toyota in Columbia, TN.
Why did you choose the dental field: I wanted to make a difference for people in the healthcare field, and giving a person a healthy and confident smile is as much rewarding for them as it is for me.
Hobbies and Interests: Spending time with my family, camping, and off-roading.
What is something most people may not know about you: I love puzzles!
Favorite Food: Hibachi.

Hometown: Paris, Texas.
First Job: Radio Shack.
Why did you choose the dental field: I love caring and helping people. I love being part of a patient's journey to restore their teeth and oral health, then watching them leave with a huge smile on their face.
Hobbies and Interests: Spending time with my family and my grandson.
What is something most people may not know about you: I love to restore, resurface, or reface an old piece of furniture and turn it into something new and beautiful.
Favorite Food: I love Mexican food!
Dr. Emalie
Hometown: I was born in Oklahoma, spent some time in Ohio and then moved to Brentwood, TN where I have lived since. We now reside in Franklin, TN with our son, TJ and dog, Lilly!
First Job: Babysitter!
Why did you choose the dental field: I decided at 8 years old that I wanted to be a dentist and never looked back. I think it started with my dentist growing up rewarding a good check up with a free scoop of ice cream. Over the years however I realized I had a unique opportunity to help people feel better about themselves and improve their overall health. Dentistry also allows me to have a great career and healthy work life balance. I also love being my own boss!
Hobbies and Interests: I love being a mom and spending time with my little guy. We are always finding new fun things to do!
What is something most people may not know about you: I played the flute from 6th grade all the way through 12th grade and was in marching band in high school . . . to this day I don’t think I could read music . . . I was just really good at faking it!
Favorite Food: My dad’s (famous) mashed potatoes.
Dr. Sam
Hometown: Columbia, TN.
First Job: I'd like to say O'Charley's, but sadly I'll have to admit it was Abercrombie & Fitch.
Why did you choose the dental field: I chose dentistry after shadowing at Maury Regional and realizing that dentists had a personal relationship with their patients while the medical surgeons typically appeared to not want any relationship.
Hobbies and Interests: I enjoy reading and audiobooks, especially science fiction. Besides that: drawing, some painting, biking or running, and going on afternoon walks with my wife and sons, Emalie, TJ, and Eli. TJ really enjoys hunting for new slides and playgrounds! Lastly I am learning to be a better dad and chef all the time.
What is something most people may not know about you: I used to be a great competitive swimmer; I set a few records in Nashville and Huntsville. At our best, the team I was on never failed to place in our medley races and took 1st place most often.
Favorite Food: Anything I don’t have to cook myself – I will eat it all! Also, anything that has peanut butter.
